Sentinels Partners with THETA Network to Launch AI Agent TEA

Los Angeles-based esports organization Sentinels has announced a new partnership with Theta Network to develop and implement an AI-driven fan-service agent.

While the financial details of the agreement remain under wraps, the collaboration will see THETA create a “sophisticated AI-powered fan-service agent” that will be integrated into Sentinels’ official website and Discord server. This AI agent is designed to address frequently asked questions from fans, provide match schedules and results, share player information, announce upcoming merchandise drops, ticket availability, and offer other engaging content related to Sentinels. The rollout of the AI agent is expected later this month.

The AI utilizes Theta EdgeCloud’s hybrid cloud-edge computing platform, which combines over 30,000 distributed edge nodes with cloud infrastructure from major providers to deliver substantial GPU compute power.

“At Sentinels, we’re always looking for ways to better serve our fans and make their experience more seamless,” stated Rob Moore, CEO of Sentinels. “Fans will be able to come to our platforms and get instant answers to any questions they have, whether it’s 3 PM or 3 AM. By partnering with Theta Network, we’re ensuring that no fan question goes unanswered, while our team can focus on creating the content and experiences our community loves.”

Sentinels competes in various titles, including Valorant, League of Legends, StarCraft 2, and Apex Legends, and is home to popular Valorant personality and former Counter-Strike pro Tarik Celik.

This partnership places Sentinels alongside other esports organizations that have adopted AI agents powered by Theta’s technology, including PlayVS, Method, 100 Thieves, Dignitas, Gen.G Esports, Cloud9, FlyQuest, NRG, and Evil Geniuses. Theta Network also collaborates with content creators, NHL teams, and several top universities in South Korea, backed by major investors like Samsung, Sony, and Creative Artists Agency.
