In a Reddit AMA, co-developer Tyler Glaiel mentioned that Mewgenics is expected to go live around 9 AM Pacific on Tuesday, February 10, but added, “who knows, maybe I’ll wake up earlier.” According to its Steam page, Mewgenics “plans to unlock” at 8 AM PST, just an hour before Glaiel’s estimate. If you’re intrigued by Mewgenics but still on the fence, our reviewer gave it a glowing score of 92, describing it as “a sprawling, ridiculous, and endlessly surprising roguelike that will pull you into its chaotic world.”
“‘Obsession’ doesn’t even begin to capture my last three weeks with this strange roguelike strategy game/cat breeding simulator,” he remarked. Sounds like a dream come true for cat enthusiasts!
