Arc Raiders Introduces New PvE Event and Revives Cold Snap
The latest patch for Arc Raiders has made strides in response to community requests for a PvE-only mode. The new in-game event, “Shared Watch,” is designed to celebrate players who support each other in the face of relentless challenges.
From Tuesday, Feb. 10, to Tuesday, Feb. 24, players will not earn merits from PvP battles. While PvP remains active, rewards will come solely from looting defeated foes. To earn merits, players must focus on taking down, assisting, and damaging Arc enemies, emphasizing teamwork against the machines.
This two-week event also introduces a fresh event track filled with various rewards, both gameplay-related and cosmetic. Notable items include the Tactical Mk. 3 (Healing) augment blueprint, a Snap Hook, a Vita Spray blueprint, and the highlight—a batting helmet for the beloved rooster, Scrappy.
The popular winter map condition, Cold Snap, has made a comeback. As before, exposure to the cold will gradually inflict frostbite on your raider, which can be cured by seeking shelter. Snowballs and Candleberries are still scattered around, though the latter no longer serves a specific event purpose, and loot value has been boosted.
Additionally, two new cosmetic bundles have been introduced. The Vulpine set outfits your raider in a fox pelt hat, a “muted leather” outfit, and white face paint, available now in the store. Meanwhile, the Slugger set can be earned during the Shared Watch event, featuring a long-sleeved, padded, baseball-themed look.
The patch also brings several bug fixes, though the notorious duplication glitch remains unresolved. Here are some of the key highlights:
