Avengers: Doomsday is less than 11 months away, and Robert Downey Jr.’s viral marketing is showing no signs of slowing down. The Marvel veteran’s latest tease features a custom, Doctor Doom-themed Super Bowl jersey.

Posted on Downey Jr.’s Instagram, the Doom-green jersey showcases Victor Von Doom’s gloved hand holding an American football, playfully referencing the iconic sports trophy. While it doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming Marvel movie, it’s a fun teaser that somewhat compensates for the lack of an Avengers: Doomsday trailer during the game, although we did catch a new glimpse of Supergirl.

Despite being nearly a year from release, the promotional campaign for Avengers: Doomsday is already in full swing. Over the Christmas season, four teaser trailers hit theaters; the first confirmed Chris Evans’ return as Steve Rogers for this pivotal Marvel film. Although Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom didn’t appear in any of the teasers, we may have caught our first proper look at the Latverian supervillain through leaked merchandise.

This star-studded Avengers film is set to surpass Avengers: Endgame, with several original Fox X-Men characters, the Fantastic Four, and the Thunderbolts joining the action. Sentry star Lewis Pullman remarked that filming Doomsday “felt like going to the Met Gala full of superheroes.” However, one Marvel hero who won’t be making a return is Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord, as the Guardians of the Galaxy star hinted recently.

Currently scheduled to release on the same day as Dune: Part Three (aka, Dunesday), Avengers: Doomsday will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars a year later, wrapping up Marvel Phase 6. As for when we’ll see the first full trailer and a look at Downey Jr.’s Doom, that remains uncertain.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18.
