Sony is set to showcase a major PlayStation State of Play this week, promising one of the biggest editions in the event’s history. We’ll provide all the details on when, where, and how to catch it live.
While Sony hasn’t revealed the full lineup for the event, we can likely rule out Marvel’s Wolverine. Despite being one of the most anticipated PlayStation titles slated for 2026, Insomniac Games has indicated that more information won’t arrive until Spring 2026, and we’re not quite there yet. Of course, they could be keeping us guessing, but that’s just wishful thinking.
Before Wolverine makes its debut, we can look forward to Marathon, which Bungie has confirmed will be featured during the event, along with Saros. Plus, Hideo Kojima has been working on a trailer, hinting at a possible PC port of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
As for third-party titles, Capcom has four major AAA releases lined up this year, so we might see Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, or Monster Hunter Stories 3 make an appearance. There are also rumors swirling about Devil May Cry 6 that may lead to disappointment. Square Enix and Sega are known for making appearances at showcases, so expect some surprises from them as well.
The PlayStation State of Play will go live on Thursday, February 12, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM GMT, featuring “60+ minutes of news.”
You can catch the show live on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels, so choose your preferred platform!
