If you’re diving into the Valentine’s event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to tackle the Cupid’s Confections duty. This quest can be a bit tricky since the game doesn’t provide clear guidance, making it one of the more challenging tasks to complete. Once you know the steps, this duty is fairly straightforward. It will take a few days to finish since you need to gather a specific food item beforehand, but once you have what you need, it’s all about spreading the love to your villagers. Here’s how to check this quest off your list. To complete the Cupid’s Confections duty, you need to distribute five Heart-Shaped Chocolates to different villagers. It sounds easy, but since you can only earn one box of chocolates per day, it will actually take five days to complete the challenge. While that might be a bit frustrating, each chocolate you give will boost your friendship with the recipient. As you progress through the daily quests in the Valentine’s Day event, you’ll earn a box of chocolates. If you’re unsure how to find these quests, look for the icon with a pink background in your quest list, which indicates a character is ready to offer you a Valentine’s Day quest instead of their usual requests. Keep in mind that you have a limited time to complete these tasks, as the 2026 event runs until February 26. However, given Dreamlight Valley’s history of recurring events, it’s likely to return next year. After you’ve successfully collected and distributed your Heart-Shaped Chocolates, you’ll be rewarded with the Red Valentine Petals item, which can be placed anywhere in your Valley like furniture. It’s a bit of effort for what essentially amounts to a constant shower of flower petals, but it will definitely enhance your screenshots, and you won’t have to worry about this duty cluttering your task list.
