Figuring out how to access the Human Exhibit in High on Life 2 is one of the initial puzzles the game presents. While it’s not overly challenging, it does require you to utilize the skills and knowledge you’ve gained so far, especially what your talking guns can do.

Gaining entry to the Human Exhibit is essential for tracking down Lizzie and uncovering what she was after beneath the zoo. I’ll guide you on how to get in and also how to exit the exhibit, as there’s another puzzle to solve. Don’t forget to give Griffith a scratch on your way through!

When you reach the entrance to the Human Exhibit after rescuing Lizzie from some bounty hunters, you’ll notice a pressure plate and a Lugblob trapped in a cage nearby. Those with a keen eye will realize that the blob needs to be placed on the plate, but how do you free it? Simple—bring Knifey into the mix.

Use Knifey on the Lugblob in the cage by pressing F, and it will respawn outside on a nearby patch of orange goop. Then, just pick it up with E and drop it on the pressure plate using the left mouse button. This will electrocute the blob and unlock the door, granting you access to the Human Exhibit.

Once inside, you’ll meet a friendly fellow named Griffith in an enclosure who you can pet. However, to move forward and continue your pursuit of Lizzie, you’ll need to get the Lugblob onto the raised platform behind him.

To do this, switch to Gus and use his secondary function by pressing the right mouse button. This will pull the Lugblob towards you from the high platform. Guide it over to the pressure pad, and once it’s in place, the door will open, allowing you to progress and leave Griffith to enjoy his life as a zoo inhabitant.
