Oddin.gg Obtains Betting License in Maryland

Esports betting solutions provider Oddin.gg has announced that it has secured a sports betting vendor license in Maryland. This marks a significant achievement for the company, as this new license is its seventh in North America.

In its announcement, Oddin.gg highlighted that the Maryland license enhances its existing market presence, which already includes states like Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, West Virginia, Ohio, and Ontario, Canada. The company noted that Maryland’s sports betting market experienced over $6.6 billion USD in wagers in 2025.

Data from Oddin.gg reveals that around 23% of sports bettors in the U.S. engage in esports betting, with North America contributing to more than 40% of the global esports betting revenue in 2024.
