As Spider-Man villain Scorpion gears up for his MCU debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, he’s not coming alone.
New artwork for Spider-Man 4 appears to showcase Michael Mando’s MCU costume as he returns to the big screen as Scorpion. The image, spotted on a Brazilian merchandise site, features a green suit complete with Scorpion’s iconic deadly sting.
Mando’s return was confirmed in August 2025, following his last appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming, where he was apprehended by the FBI and vowed revenge on Spider-Man. Peter Parker better watch out.
In addition to Scorpion and Peter Parker, the site also reveals images of two other Spider-Man foes: Tarantula and Boomerang. So far, neither character has been included in Marvel’s casting announcements.
Boomerang, also known as Fred Myers, made his debut in Marvel Comics in 1966. Renowned for his exceptional throwing skills, he has battled Spidey, the Hulk, Black Widow, Daredevil, and others. Tarantula, introduced in 1974 as Anton Rodriguez, comes equipped with retractable razor-sharp claws and poison-tipped spikes.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: Brand New Day features a cast that includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, and Sadie Sink.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31. In the meantime, catch up on the rest of Marvel Phase 6 with our guide to the upcoming Marvel movies and shows.
