While Justin Theroux may not have the foresight of Mr. House, he’s eager to delve deeper into the enigmatic New Vegas leader in future Fallout seasons.

“We catch House in the midst of his journey, and I’d love to explore what shaped him,” Theroux shared in an interview. “What pivotal moment in his life set him on the path we see him on? That’s just the fan in me wanting to know more.”

Regardless of what happens, Theroux would be content if House “stayed in the Vault,” admitting he’s not in the loop about the future of the wasteland’s narrative.

“I want to know enough about the future to understand my character’s motivations, but I also want to feel like I’m part of the story, not knowing how it ends,” he explained.

He added, “So, if House were to return, I’d expect there to be some sort of explanation for it.”

In the Fallout season 2 finale, House briefly joins Walton Goggins’ Ghoul, leading to the revelation that Barb and Janey Howard had been removed from their cryo pods and relocated to Colorado—likely against their will.

Although House was left behind in the Vault, his face flickers on-screen in Lucky 38 as Lucy and Maximus gaze out at the New Vegas skyline. Perhaps this isn’t the end…
