Peak Design Unveils Wearable Straps for Bag-Free Gamers

Peak Design is rolling out a new series of mobile straps designed for carrying small gadgets and essentials without the hassle of tossing them into a bag. Starting today, you can choose from three options: the $29.95 Mobile Cuff for your wrist, the $49.95 two-point Crossbody Strap, and the $59.95 Crossbody Multi-Strap, which lets you carry multiple items simultaneously using anchor attachments.

These straps are crafted with a custom corded rope that emphasizes “strength, comfort, and stretch,” making them compatible with any Peak Design or Apple iPhone 17 case, as well as third-party cases when used with the included adapter. The anchor attachments on the Crossbody Multi-Strap can support up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) per attachment point, making them suitable for lightweight items like compact point-and-shoot cameras, but not for heavier mirrorless or DSLR models.

The design of the Crossbody Multi-Strap gives it a rugged look, reminiscent of climbing gear, especially when multiple items are attached. For those carrying an AirPods case, a small bag or sling might be a more practical choice to avoid accidental openings.

Carry straps for smartphones have gained popularity in Europe and Asia, and Peak Design’s new offerings come on the heels of Apple’s $59 iPhone crossbody strap released last year, which features a sleek design and magnetic length adjustment.
