Arc Raiders’ highly anticipated February update, Shrouded Sky, now has a confirmed release date. After previous hints about its arrival, it’s exciting to share that it will launch on February 24, just days away. This is great news for players eager for fresh content, especially since the studio mentioned there won’t be any major updates or store rotations this week to hold us over.
According to Embark’s 2026 roadmap, Shrouded Sky is set to be a substantial update for Arc Raiders, introducing a new map condition along with a new Arc threat, player project, raider deck, map updates, and an expedition window. The timing aligns with the late January rollout of the Headwinds update, so a similar launch window for Flashpoint in March seems likely.
In the meantime, Embark is beginning to implement penalties for players who exploited the recently patched duplication glitch. The consequences will vary based on severity, intent, frequency, and impact, with some players receiving warnings while others may face suspensions if their actions significantly affected the in-game economy or the experience of other players.
“‘You have no idea what you’ve built'”: The lead of Arc Raiders shares that a “prominent professor in neurology” inspired him to submit the extraction shooter to the realm of science.
