Nosh Robotics Unveils $1,500 Autonomous Robot Chef for Hassle-Free Dinner Prep
For those who dream of cutting down on meal prep time, the newly launched Nosh One from Nosh Robotics might just be the answer. This AI-powered kitchen gadget takes the hassle out of cooking by handling everything autonomously.
Users simply load their ingredients into the robot’s tray and choose a recipe. The Nosh One takes care of adding ingredients to its pot at the right moments, stirring, and monitoring the cooking process with a built-in camera, all without any need for human intervention. Once the meal is ready, the Nosh app sends a notification. The app also allows users to view, edit recipes, and schedule meals. With the capability to whip up over 500 dishes, users can even create their own recipes by describing their desired meal in natural language, letting the AI generate a custom recipe.
The Nosh One is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter, starting at $1,499, with shipping expected to begin this summer. Backers can also opt for upgrades that include additional accessories and a lifetime subscription to Nosh’s Culinary+, which provides access to all recipes and the ability to edit and create 50 new recipes each year.
Last year, a similar robot called Posha was reviewed, which shares the same price point and a nearly identical design, also utilizing AI to automate cooking. However, the Nosh One stands out with its fully sealed cooking chamber that can be closed during operation. This design feature ensures that the pot and stirring arm are completely covered, potentially reducing splashes and fumes compared to the Posha.
