Honor of Kings Launches in India with 5v5 Gameplay, Esports Plans, and Exclusive Launch Events

Honor of Kings, the globally popular mobile MOBA developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Level Infinite, has officially launched in India. The game is now available for download on both Android and iOS devices, bringing its competitive 5v5 multiplayer gameplay and large esports ecosystem to Indian players.

With the launch, the developers aim to build a strong community in the country through localized content, launch events, and opportunities for players to compete at both national and international levels.

Classic MOBA Gameplay Arrives on Mobile

At the core of Honor of Kings is Hero’s Gorge, a 5v5 battleground designed around strategy, teamwork, and skill-based competition. The game follows the traditional MOBA format where players select heroes with different roles and abilities, working together to defeat the opposing team.

The developers have emphasized a “Free to Play, Fair to Win” model, meaning that success in matches depends on player skill rather than paid advantages. Players can participate in ranked battles, coordinate with teammates, and unlock various heroes while progressing through the competitive ladder.

To improve the experience for Indian players, the launch also includes localized voiceovers, optimized server performance, and faster matchmaking.

Launch Events Offer Rewards and Exclusive Content

To celebrate the game’s debut in India, several limited-time in-game events have been introduced, offering players a chance to unlock free heroes, skins, voice packs, and other rewards.

A pre-registration campaign held before launch allowed players to claim special bonuses once the game became available. Another ongoing event encourages players to sign in daily to earn rewards, including a free epic skin.

Additional campaigns include influencer-driven challenges where players can earn themed cosmetics, avatar frames, and creator voice packs inspired by well-known Indian gaming personalities. Some events also give players the opportunity to win prizes such as Amazon and Flipkart gift cards through daily draws.

Esports Roadmap and India-Focused Content

Alongside the game’s launch, the developers have outlined plans to expand Honor of Kings esports in India. Indian teams will have the chance to compete at the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) at the Esports World Cup 2026, with dedicated slots allocated for the country.

To further develop the competitive scene, the game will host the KINGS’ Arise: India City Tour, featuring offline tournaments in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. These events will allow local players to compete for prize money while building a grassroots esports community.

Additionally, the Honor of Kings Campus Series will introduce structured competitions for college players across India.

Looking ahead, the developers have also revealed plans to introduce a new hero inspired by Indian culture, expected to arrive in June.

With its official launch, large-scale events, and esports opportunities, Honor of Kings aims to establish itself as a major contender in India’s rapidly growing mobile MOBA and esports landscape.
