New Trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day Set to Release, Fans Get Sneak Peeks

The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to drop on Wednesday, March 18, as confirmed by star Tom Holland. But for those eager to get a taste of what’s coming, there are already some exciting two-second clips making the rounds on social media, thanks to Sony Pictures and various influencers.

A few teasers are currently available, including one that’s sure to resonate with fans. Holland and director Destin Daniel Cretton are recreating the legendary cover of Marvel Comics’ Amazing Fantasy #15, which marks Spider-Man’s debut, in a live-action homage for this new chapter in the superhero’s MCU saga.

Peruvian influencer Cliver Huaman Sanchez, known as Pol Deportes, was the first to share footage of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man swinging alongside an unidentified New Yorker, capturing a slow-motion moment reminiscent of the 1962 comic.

Other snippets reveal more everyday scenes, such as Peter Parker putting on his mask, a moment where he seems to be in distress and collapses, and another where Spider-Man struggles with his web-slinging. There’s also a striking shot from inside Spider-Man’s mask, giving a close-up view of Peter’s eyes.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s been unveiled so far. Remember to swipe to the second slide for your sneak peek at Spider-Man.

For those who can’t get enough of this gradual marketing approach, there’s more to come from Spider-Man enthusiasts and cosplayers. If that’s not your style, just hang tight until Wednesday for the full trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

In this upcoming MCU adventure, Peter Parker continues to grapple with the fallout from Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Doctor Strange cast a spell that erased the world’s memory of Peter as Spider-Man. Even his close friends Ned and MJ don’t remember him, as highlighted by a heartfelt letter Peter is seen writing (and narrating) at the trailer’s start. If Brand New Day follows the typical trajectory of Peter Parker’s life, a happy ending might be a stretch. (Perhaps in the sequel…)

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is based on a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who penned the previous three Spider-Man films. Joining Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon are newcomers Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, adding fresh faces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31.
