Antigravity’s 360-Degree Drone Now 20% Off Before Upcoming Feature Release

Insta360’s Antigravity A1 stands out in the drone market, primarily due to its Vision Goggles that offer a 360-degree first-person perspective from the drone’s cameras. These goggles feature an external screen displaying the pilot’s view. The A1 is capable of capturing stunning 8K video at 30 frames per second or 5.7K at 60 frames per second. Currently, the company is offering its most significant discounts on all bundles, slashing 20 percent off the retail price at various retailers through April 16th.

The promotion coincides with the upcoming release of a new set of features via a free software update. Before diving into those features, let’s break down what each bundle offers and their current prices. The entry-level “Standard” bundle is priced at $1,279 (down from $1,599) and includes the A1 drone, Vision Goggles, a remote control, a battery, a carrying case, and four spare propellers.

The “Explorer” and “Infinity” bundles are available for $1,519 (originally $1,899) and $1,599 (previously $1,999), respectively. These bundles come with extra spare propellers and batteries, along with additional accessories like a sling bag and a charging hub. The most expensive package features a quick reader for transferring footage to other devices and high-capacity batteries instead of the standard ones found in the lower tiers.

In February, Antigravity introduced a new Flight Simulator mode, allowing users to practice flying using the Vision Goggles without needing to operate the drone. On April 15th, the company will roll out voice controls for activating specific shooting functions, timelapse capture across various flight modes, and a Virtual Cockpit feature. The Virtual Cockpit can overlay virtual elements into your view, creating an immersive experience, such as making it feel like you’re soaring on a dragon or piloting an airplane.
