Dune: Part Three Unveils New Trailer Featuring the Messiah’s Ascendancy

First comes love, then comes marriage, and then a dramatic twist with a set of twin babies in the latest trailer for Dune: Part Three.

The first full trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s third installment has dropped, and while it doesn’t reveal every detail, it highlights some key characters who will shape the conclusion of Paul Atreides’ (Timothée Chalamet) journey. Set a few years after the events of Part Two, Dune: Part Three follows Paul and Chani (Zendaya) as they eagerly await the arrival of their first child.

While the couple seems unaware that twins are on the way, they are acutely conscious of the peril Paul faces as he leads a war to assert his dominance over the universe. The trailer hints at the looming threat of Tleilaxu Face Dancer Scytale (Robert Pattinson), but it also raises questions about how Paul’s sister Alia (Anya Taylor-Joy) and a resurrected Duncan Idaho (Jason Momoa) could complicate his claim to power.

With the trailer showcasing intense moments, Part Three is shaping up to be another thrilling entry when it arrives in theaters on December 18th. Now, the only question left is what kind of wild snacks audiences will be diving into as they experience the film.
