Neither snow, rain, heat, nor gloom of night can deter Norman Reedus from his deliveries. It’s a saying we all learned, and it rings true now more than ever. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is just around the corner for PC players, following its original PS5 launch less than a year ago.
This feels like a farewell gift as reports suggest a significant reduction in Sony’s PC port strategy, but I’m not complaining. I loved the first Death Stranding, and everything I’ve heard about the sequel has me excited to play. I’ve been following updates since its PS5 release, and it’s clear this game was always destined for PC. Now’s the perfect time to catch up on the 11 improvements in Death Stranding 2 that have fans buzzing.
Soon, those of us without PS5s will be able to join in the excitement. I’m hopeful for a solid port, especially since the first game ran smoothly on my setup last year, and I haven’t seen any complaints from those who got early access. Here’s when you can expect the game to launch worldwide.
For most players, Death Stranding 2 will unlock on March 19, with a few in Australia and other regions waiting until the early hours of March 20. That’s what you get for calling flip-flops “thongs”!
Here are the key release times, with more details available on the map:
And if you’re concerned about whether your aging hardware can handle it, good news: you’re likely in the clear.
Get your hard drives ready because Death Stranding 2 is available for preloading on Steam right now. Time to get delivering, fellow couriers!
