Understanding how to respec Kliff in Crimson Desert is crucial, especially given the intricate skill tree that shapes your gameplay. While some abilities can be acquired through skill observation, most require you to spend Abyss Artifacts within the skill tree.

Fortunately, there’s a method to respec, allowing you to experiment with your skills and reallocate your points. If you find a boss particularly challenging, you might want to invest your artifacts into health and spirit instead—there’s an item that facilitates this.

To respec in Crimson Desert, you’ll need a Faded Abyss Artifact, which differs from the regular or Sealed Abyss Artifacts. You can find your first one during the Chapter 1 main quest, Trace, when you explore Hernand Castle. Look for the room that the mysterious key unlocks. Before entering the abyss portal, check the chest in that room to obtain one. If you miss it, don’t worry—you can always return later to collect it.

To actually perform the respec, access the skills menu and hold F to reset all. This action will return your Abyss Artifacts, allowing you to reallocate them as you see fit. If you don’t have a Faded Abyss Artifact in your inventory, the reset option will be unavailable.

Currently, there’s no way to buy Faded Abyss Artifacts in Crimson Desert, but you can earn them as rewards from main story quests. For instance, you’ll find one in the chest during Trace and another upon completing Chapter 1.

You can also acquire them by finishing specific Sealed Abyss Artifact challenges, like Keeping Balance on the Wind, which you can find at a roadside marker southeast of Hernand, along the road that runs east below Unicorn Cliff.

Lastly, you can purchase one Faded Abyss Artifact from shops in the Witch’s Lair, but these won’t be accessible until you reach Chapter 3 in the main story.
