Solving the riddles in Crimson Desert’s Spire of Insight is crucial for reaching the top and accessing another Abyss Gate, which leads to a new area in the skylocked region. Once you figure out how to enter, you’ll face three riddles that require you to find specific items and place them in a bowl.
I encountered some bugs with the “place” command, so I suggest walking right up to the bowl and dropping the item directly instead. Here’s how to tackle the Spire of Insight puzzle in Crimson Desert.
First, you need to burn the thorny roots using Blinding Flash in front of the Spire of Insight to unlock the door. Once you reach it, you’ll be presented with a riddle and a stone basin below. Pick up a Small Pebble from the doorstep and drop it into the basin.
Since the “place” command was glitchy, I found it easier to throw the pebble in, but you can also try dropping it while standing next to the basin. Once the pebble is in, a light will shine, and the spire door will open.
Each puzzle in the Spire of Insight follows a similar format: read the riddle from the Giant Book on the stand in the center, then gather the required items to drop into the basin below. The first riddle is:

The bowl will shine, and the stand with the Giant Book will transform into a lift, taking you to the next floor and the next riddle.
Check the book again, and it will read:
This time, you need two items:
Once again, the bowl will shine, and the lift will take you up.
When you reach the third puzzle, grab the Gold Bar recipe hanging from the bookshelf to your right. Then, read the book to get the riddle:
Following the pattern, you’ll need three items for the basin. These are easy to find since the room is small, located either on a bookshelf or nestled between the shelves:
With that, you’ve reached the final floor. Simply head through the Abyss Gate to complete the Spire of Insight, and you’ll find yourself in the Chaos Forest area of the Abyss.
