Govee’s latest outdoor string lights feature individually customizable multicolor bulbs.

Govee has unveiled a new line of outdoor string lights that offers an impressive level of color customization, surpassing what many competitors provide, including their own existing color-changing options. Much like the Outdoor UpDown Wall Light released in July 2025, the new Outdoor Chromatic String Lights allow you to personalize each bulb with a variety of colors, gradients, and animated effects, rather than being restricted to a single hue.

These Outdoor Chromatic String Lights are now available for purchase through Govee’s online store and other major retailers. You can choose between two lengths: a 32-foot version with 10 bulbs priced at $169.99, or a 65-foot version featuring 20 bulbs for $299.99.

Each bulb boasts an IP67 weather rating, ensuring they can withstand heavy rain, and they are constructed with a dual-layer shell that softens and diffuses the light. Inside, each bulb is equipped with 55 RGB LEDs that can produce solid colors or dynamic multi-color gradients with smooth transitions. Additionally, there are 54 dedicated white LEDs in each bulb that deliver up to 240 lumens, allowing you to set them to a neutral white glow for effective backyard illumination.

You can customize colors and lighting effects or select from 12 music-reactive modes using the Govee Home app. The Outdoor Chromatic String Lights are also Matter-compatible, making them easy to integrate into Amazon and Google smart home systems, allowing for voice control.
