Where to Find Legendary Horses in Crimson Desert

Tracking down legendary horse locations in Crimson Desert is a fantastic way to secure a top-tier mount. Each of these renowned steeds has unique strengths, whether it’s Royler’s impressive speed, Rokade’s robust health, or Camora’s exceptional combat stats. They also possess superior skills compared to regular horses, with Royler boasting a unique Consecutive Instant Acceleration ability.

To tame these legendary horses, you’ll need a solid stamina level, especially for Royler, who resides in a frigid environment. I personally respecced to boost my stamina just for this purpose, so it’s definitely worth ensuring you’re adequately prepared before diving in.

Royler, the legendary white horse, is the fastest of the trio, featuring Level 4 movement speed, while Rokade and Camora are capped at Level 3. Additionally, Royler has a distinct skill set, gaining Instant Acceleration at Level 3 and the unique Consecutive Instant Acceleration at Level 5.

You can find Royler near the camp by a small pond in Snowgrass Hearth, just below the “P” in Pailune. Given the snowy terrain, it’s wise to equip ice resistance gear and consumables, along with a decent stamina level. I found myself struggling even after respeccing to stamina level 10, especially since I was using mouse and keyboard and didn’t bring extra ice resistance beyond my cloak.

When attempting to tame, it’s more effective to hold S (or pull back on the controller stick) and keep the camera centered behind the horse, rather than following the minigame instructions.

Rokade, the legendary black horse, is the most durable, boasting nearly double the health of Royler, making it an excellent choice for a resilient mount. You can spot Rokade near the pool west of the Spire of Insight in southern Hernand, where its striking black coat makes it easy to identify.

Taming Rokade is also simpler due to the more favorable climate in Hernand, eliminating concerns about stamina being affected by harsh conditions like ice or heat.

Camora, the legendary red horse, excels in attack and defense, making it the ideal combat mount for those looking to utilize horse skills in battle. You can find Camora in the Redtree Forest, nestled in a flower-filled cavern meadow in the rainforest south of the Crimson Desert. This location is southeast of Tommaso, east of the Sanctum of Renunciation, and west of the Red River.

Navigating to this spot can be a bit tricky, but the map should assist you. If you haven’t unlocked the region map yet, ring the bell in Tommaso for the Toll of Pywel quest. Look for a red horse with white markings, and try to lure Camora into an open area to avoid getting your camera stuck against walls, which can make taming difficult—trust me, I learned this the hard way.
