The Arboria Castle puzzle in Crimson Desert revolves around fixing an elixir factory for House Celeste, and it’s one of the more intricate challenges in the game. While it’s not overly complex, it features multiple stages, making it easy to make mistakes. If you stumble in without the right quest, you can solve the puzzle but won’t receive any rewards.
To tackle this puzzle correctly, you need the “Restarting the Elixir Factory” quest, which requires completing the “Queen of the Silkspun Cradle” quest first. This quest can be a bit glitchy in terms of its availability. Here’s how to repair the elixir factory if you’re on the quest.
As noted, this puzzle is part of the “Abandoned Factory” quest for House Celeste, which unlocks after you defeat the spider bounty in the castle during an earlier mission. Once that’s done, you’ll be tasked with fixing the elixir factory.
The video above covers the entire process, but here’s a step-by-step breakdown. If you’re curious about the Arboria Castle Strongbox, it operates similarly to the second Bluemont Manor Strongbox, where you need to adjust each piston to match the level shown in the box when you pull the switch on the right. It includes a book that explains part of the puzzle, so you can skip that if you want. Otherwise, here’s how to proceed.
Upon entering Arboria Castle, look to your left for a cylindrical tank with a conveyor belt. Now:
Wait for it to start producing elixir bottles and complete the “Produce the perfect elixir” objective. Then, head back to the plant room down the ladder at the start and grab the Fertilizer Sprayer from the compartment on your left. That’s all you need to do!
