A New BlackBerry Model You’ll Actually Want Has Arrived on Kickstarter
When Allison Johnson got her hands on the Titan 2 Elite phone at MWC 2026, Unihertz kept the pricing details under wraps. Now, this compact Android device, featuring a BlackBerry-inspired keyboard, is up for preorder via a Kickstarter campaign, starting at $489. Early backers can snag it for just $389, with shipping expected as soon as June 2026.
The Titan 2 Elite is a more compact and lighter iteration of Unihertz’s Titan 2, which launched last June as a modern take on the BlackBerry Passport. Its design leans more towards the BlackBerry Bold series, sporting a slightly boxier shape to fit a 4.03-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. It runs on Android 16, with promises of upgrades to Android 20, and supports 5G connectivity with dual nano SIMs and eSIM. Security features include fingerprint and face unlock, and it packs a 4,050mAh battery along with a full QWERTY keyboard that doubles as a trackpad.
On the rear, the Titan 2 Elite boasts a dual-camera setup with two 50MP lenses, including telephoto capabilities, while the front features a 32MP hole-punch camera positioned in the upper left corner of the display.
Unihertz is rolling out two versions of this revamped BlackBerry. The standard Titan 2 Elite comes equipped with a Dimensity 7400 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. For those willing to spend a bit more, the Titan 2 Elite Pro starts at $579 (currently discounted to $479) and upgrades to a faster Dimensity 8400 processor, 512GB of storage, and a 50MP telephoto camera enhanced with optical image stabilization.
