Cracking the Precipice of Truth Puzzle in Crimson Desert

The Precipice of Truth is one of the trickiest parkour challenges in Crimson Desert, rivaling the frustration of Root’s End. However, once you grasp the mechanics, you’ll find it’s not too lengthy to complete.

To start your journey to the Precipice of Truth, jump off the ledge behind Root’s End and ride the moving platforms. This will teleport you to a new set of floating islands where the puzzle begins.

Once you arrive, leap across the gap and ascend the stairs. Be prepared for a laser turret to emerge from a rock tower—this is your first obstacle, blocking the path to the fast travel point, so watch your step.

When the turret activates, use Axiom Force to grab the orb it drops. This will disable the turret and create an energy rock, a mechanic you’ll encounter several times throughout this trial.

Take the energy rock you just created and carry it through the tunnels. Upon exiting, turn right to find a battery crystal behind a barrier. Place the energy rock next to the cube pillar to the left of the barrier to lower it.

Next, use Axiom Force to grab the battery crystal and turn around to insert it into the empty socket overlooking the abyss. Once it starts emitting green leaves, use Force Palm to secure it in place. This will activate the fan ahead, but first, make sure to activate the fast travel point by standing on the platform for a moment.

After that, glide over the fan to launch yourself upward and land on the small rock platform ahead.

Before riding the smaller moving platform up, check to your right for another laser turret. Trigger it to open (you may need to step onto the moving platform and then back off) and use Axiom Force to destroy it.

Collect the energy rock it produces and ride the moving platform up to the higher area, where you can place it next to another cube pillar. This will remove the barrier protecting a power core, which you need to carry eastward around the corner using Axiom Force.

I suggest moving the power core as far ahead as possible, then using precise jumps to reach the next large platform near the empty socket on your right.

Position the power core into the wall socket, and it will start emitting leaves. Glide over and climb up the wall to reach the small ledge next to it. Aim carefully and use Force Palm to punch the core into place, causing it to surge with energy and activate the fan across from you. It can be a bit tricky, so try to approach the core head-on.

Ride the wind from the activated fan to the opposite side of the area, where you’ll find another empty wall socket needing a power cell. Jump across the small rock pillars to your left, up to the ledge, and you’ll encounter another laser turret that you’ll need to break using Axiom Force.

Take the energy rock back to the empty socket, then ride the moving platform down to the lower ledge next to an unpowered fan. Place the energy rock next to the cube pillar to reveal the power core, which you’ll need to carry back up to the empty socket.

Repeat the earlier steps, positioning the core in the empty socket and using Force Palm to secure it. This will activate the fan on the lower ledge and the two fans on your right.

Glide over the small fan on your left to propel yourself toward the two large fans, which will shoot you up to a circular, glowing pad on the wall. Land on the pad (or climb up to reach it) and use Force Palm to press the button in the center.

This concludes the Precipice of Truth puzzle, allowing you to climb up to the ledge above and claim your reward—an Abyss Artifact.
