Magic’s latest Secret Lair release includes a $15 card that will frustrate your opponents.

Wizards of the Coast is cranking out new Magic: The Gathering products at an impressive pace, making it tough to stay updated. In 2026 alone, we can expect seven new card sets, alongside a flurry of experimental drops and decks from the Secret Lair sub-brand. Recent leaks hint at an upcoming goblin-themed Commander deck and a second Deadpool drop through Secret Lair. Now, we’ve caught wind of another unannounced Secret Lair that’s sure to stir up some debate.

The “So Salty” Secret Lair is making waves at PAX East this weekend, with an attendee sharing the reveal on Instagram. The title says it all—this drop features cards designed to frustrate your opponents, all showcased with striking ’80s heavy-metal poster-style artwork. Among the highlights is Winter Orb, a card that restricts players to untapping just one land each turn.

Another card that’s bound to raise some eyebrows is Narset, Partner of Veils, a Planeswalker that limits everyone to drawing only one card per turn. However, the real kicker in this pack is likely Expropriate, which forces your opponents to choose between granting you extra turns or letting you pilfer their resources.

Here’s a quick overview of the included cards and their current resale market prices:

Additionally, there’s a visually stunning Forest card, which, while not particularly valuable, stands out due to its unique artwork.

Using any of these cards during your Commander nights is sure to provoke some groans from your friends. (Personally, I’m not a fan of facing off against Winter Orb, but that’s just me.) Still, the eye-catching new art might just give you some extra street cred as you outmaneuver your opponents in style.
