Locate the Field Depot and Scout Patrol in Arc Raiders’ Dust on the Wires Mission

TheDust on the Wires quest is one of the first you’ll encounter when diving into the new Flashpoint update for Arc Raiders. While it may seem straightforward, it features multiple stages that require your attention. Your mission is to assist Shani in locating a missing scout patrol, which involves visiting a Field Depot and a few other key locations.

You’ll also need to return an item to her, so it’s wise to have a secure pocket for safekeeping. Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing Dust on the Wires in Arc Raiders.

Start by heading to one of the two Field Depots located on the eastern side of Spaceport. I recommend the southern depot, which is situated between the Security Checkpoint to the south and the Communications Tower to the north.

Like all Field Depots, it’s easy to identify thanks to the antenna on the roof. Once you arrive, interact with the yellow-marked terminal on the desk inside.

Next, make your way to the Maintenance Hangar and look for a rusted metallic tower just north of it. This small structure, resembling scrap metal, is the one featured in the quest image.

Climb the stairs around the tower and interact with the yellow-marked terminal inside.

After that, descend from the tower and head back toward the Maintenance Hangar, but this time go around to the opposite side. To the southwest of the hangar, along the road, you’ll find evidence of the scout patrol near an overturned trolley—interact with the “transmit location” prompt. Then, continue south down the road a bit further to find another overturned trolley next to a barrel and some blue cloth.

This will yield the Scout Patrol Note, which you need to deliver back to Shani, so make sure to keep it safe in your pocket if you have one.
