PC Gamers Have Just One Week to Grab This Highly Rated Game for Free
Epic Games is offering a single free PC game this week, and it’s a fan-favorite in the multiplayer scene. For a limited time, you can grab a wild “voxel slice-’em-up” at no cost.
Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, which debuted in summer 2021, has received over 17,000 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam since its launch. This frenetic fighter equips you and other gladiators with laser swords and throws you into an arena where you’ll slice your opponents into tiny voxel bits while dodging the same fate for your own limbs.
The game features multiple modes to keep the action fresh. You can tackle the story mode solo, dive into endless mode, or take on challenge mode with a limited set of weapons. Streamers will appreciate Twitch mode, allowing their viewers to spawn enemies during gameplay. You can also team up for online co-op, challenge friends in 1v1 duels, or test your survival skills in the Battle Royale-inspired Last Bot Standing mode.
If Clone Drone in the Danger Zone piques your interest, simply log in to the Epic Games Store to claim it. The game will be available for free until Thursday, April 9, at 11 a.m. EDT.
In addition to the regular giveaway, Tomak: Save the Earth Regeneration is being offered for free for a longer period. This remastered version of the original 2001 game tasks you with keeping the Goddess of Love alive—though she’s just a head in a flower pot in your room. Released today, April 2, it will be free for two weeks, until April 16, after which it will be priced at $8.99.
