Indian esports organization S8UL Esports has announced its participation across 13 different titles at the Esports World Cup 2026, marking the largest multi-title entry by an Indian team at a global esports event.
The organization will compete through qualification pathways in a wide range of games, including Apex Legends, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Call of Duty: Warzone, Chess, EA Sports FC, Fortnite, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, and more. This move highlights S8UL’s strategy to establish itself as a global contender across PC, console, and mobile ecosystems.
A Major Step in S8UL’s Global Esports Ambition
S8UL’s participation reflects its rapid evolution from a dominant Indian organization to a global esports brand. By entering multiple genres—including FPS, battle royale, fighting games, sports simulations, and strategy—the organization is building a diverse competitive portfolio.
This announcement follows S8UL’s selection in the Esports World Cup Foundation’s Club Partner Program for the second consecutive year. Being part of this elite group of 40 global organizations ensures that S8UL continues to represent India on one of the biggest stages in competitive gaming.
The decision also builds on S8UL’s performance at EWC 2025, where it competed across nine titles. The team reached the Grand Finals in Apex Legends and secured top-eight finishes in Chess and EA Sports FC. For 2026, the addition of titles like Fortnite, Honor of Kings, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Trackmania signals a clear expansion in ambition and depth.
EWC 2026: Scale, Prize Pool, and What Lies Ahead
The Esports World Cup 2026 will take place in Riyadh from July 6 to August 23, bringing together over 2,000 players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries. The event features a massive $75 million prize pool (approximately ₹700 crore), making it one of the largest tournaments in esports history.
At the center of the competition is the Club Championship, which alone carries a $30 million (~₹280 crore) prize pool. This format rewards organizations that perform consistently across multiple titles—an area where S8UL is now heavily investing.
Heading into the tournament, S8UL has strong momentum. Its BGMI roster recently won the BGMI India Series 2026, while its MOBA Legends 5v5 team secured a major tournament victory. The organization has also seen success in chess, VALORANT, and Apex Legends, including a top-five finish at the ALGS Championship—one of the best results for an Indian team internationally.
With its largest-ever multi-title campaign and consistent results across games, S8UL is positioning itself as a serious contender at EWC 2026. More importantly, its expansion reflects a broader shift—Indian esports organizations are no longer just participating globally, but aiming to compete and win at the highest level.
