GRID Partners with NAVER to Integrate League of Legends Esports Data into CHZZK Platform
South Korean tech firm NAVER has teamed up with the esports data platform GRID to bring real-time League of Legends match data to its livestreaming service, CHZZK. This collaboration is set to launch on April 1, coinciding with the start of the LCK season.
As part of the initial rollout, CHZZK will feature several enhancements powered by GRID’s live match data:
Beyond the LCK regular season, GRID’s data will also elevate broadcasts for the Mid-Season Invitational and the League of Legends World Championship. The partnership aims to expand its reach to additional leagues globally over time.
Co-streamers will benefit from this integrated data as well. Co-streaming has become a vital aspect of the esports broadcasting landscape, with many co-streamers on platforms like Twitch often attracting larger audiences than the official broadcasts.
In 2023, GRID established an exclusive data partnership with Riot Games, covering both League of Legends and VALORANT. Additionally, the company became the exclusive data partner for Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 for ESL Faceit Group events last year.
