PowerWash Simulator 2 Takes on a Tatooine Farmer’s Dilemma in Latest Collaboration

The upcoming crossover DLC for PowerWash Simulator 2 is set to take players on a thrilling adventure in a galaxy far, far away, featuring a collaboration with Star Wars that promises to add a unique twist to the game. You’ll step into the role of a P0-W2 labor droid equipped with a high-tech hose and nozzle, tackling cleaning jobs across various iconic locations, including Owen Lars’ homestead. The mystery of where all that water comes from on a desert planet? That’s a puzzle for the farmers to solve.

FutureLab plans to release this exciting pack in summer 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC, priced at $9.99. Players can look forward to cleaning tasks on Tatooine (specifically the Lars homestead), Hoth (the Rebel Alliance base), and even the bridge of a Super Star Destroyer. While multiple jobs have been hinted at, so far, only a few have been confirmed: Lars’ moisture farm, X-Wings in a bunker (where maintenance droids seem to have dropped the ball), and a frozen underground hub on Hoth.

The game’s Steam description hints at a narrative twist: “Your average assignment quickly spirals into being commandeered to carry out the Empire’s dirty work, before clearing the way for the Rebel Alliance. Rebellions are built on hope, and soap.” Whether this suggests a deeper story for each mission or simply adds flavor remains to be seen, but FutureLab has promised plenty of Imperial and Rebel Easter eggs throughout the DLC.

Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FutureLab, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “For generations, Star Wars has captivated audiences with its exciting and vibrant galaxy of memorable moments and characters. So, it’s been a privilege for the FuturLab team to be able to take PowerWash Simulator 2 into a galaxy far, far away and shine the spotlight on the power washing adventures of P0-W2.”

The Star Wars DLC for PowerWash Simulator 2 will support both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing you to team up with friends for some cleaning fun or tackle the challenges solo.
