Guide to Finishing the Line in the Sand Mission in Arc Raiders

Line in the Sand is a new quest in the Riven Tides update for Arc Raiders, and it continues the saga of Stella Montis and Buried City, focusing on the transport of Exodus materials.

To complete Line in the Sand, you’ll need to track down four specific locations within Buried City, which can be a bit tricky. Here’s a guide to help you navigate the mission more efficiently.

Start your journey at the blue derailed train cars located between Warehouse and Piazza Roma, right in the heart of Buried City. These cars are also south of Marano Station along the tracks. Approach the train cars that are partially buried in sand, and the quest will automatically update—no need for any direct interaction.

Next, head east from the derailed trains, and you’ll spot a small square tower on the hill next to the wall that runs perpendicular to Warehouse and Piazza Roma. Climb over the railing and interact with the detonator hidden in the southwest corner, concealed by some bushes. This will trigger the Marano Market Business Card quest item, which serves as a clue for your next destination.

From there, continue north past the Library and Hospital to reach the Market Ruins in the northeast corner of the map. Here, you’ll find a dilapidated building that will advance the quest step—again, no interaction is necessary.

After exploring the Market Ruins, head up the hill to the east, nestled between two more buildings, to arrive at Dune’s End. Enter the building and proceed through the door in front of you, then take the zipline down to the basement. Inside, you’ll discover a pile of cardboard boxes that you can photograph to complete the Line in the Sand quest.
