Discover Locations for Ship Models in the Avian Alarm Quest of Arc Raiders
Ship Models play a crucial role in the latest Riven Tides update for Arc Raiders, as they are essential for the Avian Alarm project. It’s fitting that a sandy coastal map would introduce a variety of boat-themed trinkets—though their exact purpose in a bird alarm system remains a mystery, much like many aspects of Arc Raiders.
The update also brings new quests, including Battening Down, Shoring Up Defenses, and Collision Course. If you’re looking to collect Ship Models, here’s the scoop.
First, it’s worth mentioning that Ship Models appear to be exclusive to the new Riven Tide map. I tested this by participating in a Bird City event, but I didn’t find any Ship Models there, suggesting they might only spawn on the new map.
As with most trinkets, you can discover Ship Models in Residential areas, like the Hotel Panorama Azzurro, and scattered throughout the map. I stumbled upon one in a small building at the Weighing Checkpoint, which is part of the Industrial/Mechanical zone, indicating they can be found in various locations. However, the most effective way to gather Ship Models is through the Beachcoming map condition for Riven Tide. This condition takes over the area, integrating it into the regular matchmaking pool.
During this event, you’ll need to use the Dockmaster’s Detector to locate caches along the beach north of the Port Authority Building and dig them up. Most caches contain a Ship Model of varying rarity. In every cache I opened, I found a ship, including the purple rarity “Sirena Dorata,” so you should be able to collect them fairly quickly. Here’s a list of all the available Ship Models:
Keep in mind that Dockmaster’s Detectors do have a limited lifespan, similar to Snap Hooks. You can acquire more through the first stage of the Avian Alarm project, find them scattered on the map, or potentially craft them—though I haven’t come across a blueprint for that yet.
