Save $60 on the Nex Playground gaming console this week!

One of the top-selling gaming consoles this winter was the Nex Playground, a compact cube equipped with a camera that offers motion-controlled games primarily aimed at kids. This month, its price increased by $50, rising from $249 to $299. However, during Amazon’s gaming week sale, which runs until May 4th, it’s available for a limited time at $239 across various retailers. While this isn’t as low as the previous $199 sales, it’s currently the best deal you’ll find.

The Nex Playground comes with five games right out of the box, but you can significantly enhance its library with a Play Pass subscription. This subscription includes games featuring beloved characters like Bluey, Peppa Pig, and Elmo. A review highlighted the Playground’s impressive camera tracking, although it can struggle with fast-moving kids, leading to some frustration. Despite these occasional hiccups, the overall experience remains enjoyable for families.

One of the main drawbacks noted was the high price tag of the Nex Playground, especially when factoring in the additional cost of the Play Pass subscription, which starts at $49 for three months or $89 for a year. While this sale doesn’t make the Playground a budget option, it does offer a slight reduction in cost.
