Google Photos introduces AI feature to virtually try on your existing wardrobe.
Google Photos is introducing an exciting new AI feature that lets you virtually try on clothes from your own collection. By utilizing the images stored in your gallery, Google will assemble a virtual “wardrobe” for you, enabling you to mix and match outfits, save your favorite looks, and share them with friends.
A video from Google demonstrates how Photos organizes your clothing items into this virtual wardrobe. You can easily browse through outfits you’ve worn and create new combinations by selecting from tops, bottoms, skirts, dresses, and shoes to craft a fresh look.
Additionally, there’s a handy button in the bottom right corner of each outfit that allows you to virtually try them on. While Google previously launched an AI virtual try-on feature for shopping in Search, this new wardrobe capability in Google Photos is set to roll out to Android devices later this summer, with plans to expand to iOS soon after.
