Fertilizer Acquisition Tips for Arc Raiders

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always overlooked Fertilizer in Arc Raiders. Until now, it served little purpose beyond being recycled into Assorted Seeds or sold for a paltry 1,000 coins. However, with the Riven Tides update, it turns out we need to gather some Fertilizer for the Avian Alarm project.

Specifically, you’ll need ten units of Fertilizer. At first glance, that doesn’t seem like much, but with everyone scrambling for it, you’ll find yourself needing to play a few matches to collect enough. But if that’s what your feathered friends require, then that’s what you’ll have to do.

The best spots to hunt for Fertilizer are the plant beds located in the Hydroponic Dome Complex on Dam Battlegrounds or the Village on Blue Gate. Both areas feature multiple planters that resemble bathtubs filled with dirt. On top of that dirt, there’s a chance to find a pile of Fertilizer, which can be tricky to spot since it blends in quite well.

With three domes, each containing several planters, it’s an excellent farming location for Fertilizer. Just keep in mind that it’s often already picked clean by players who got there before you.

Another good area is the ruined greenhouses, where you’ll find planters and, in my experience, fewer players searching for Fertilizer. There’s a solid spot right in the middle of the point of interest, close to the pharmacy.

Additionally, during the Lush Blooms modifier, you might find Fertilizer in the wicker basket containers scattered across the maps, though this modifier only appears every few hours.

You can also come across it while Beachcombing on Riven Tides, which is a great option since you’ll also be able to collect the Model Ships needed for the project.
