Hasbro Launches $600 ‘Hyper-Realistic’ Grogu Animatronic Figure

If you’re still riding the Baby Yoda wave, you’re in for a treat: Hasbro has just launched a premium, hyper-realistic animatronic version of Grogu for $599.99. This 1:1 scale marvel is designed for Star Wars enthusiasts, collectors, and cosplayers, allowing you to nurture, feed, and interact with Grogu right at home.

The Ultimate Grogu features four motors, multiple touch sensors, microphones, an accelerometer, and 18 points of motorized articulation, all packed into its 14.6-inch frame. This top-tier Grogu responds to touch, movement, and sounds with over 250 animations and sound effects. You can even pinch his cheeks! At $600, it’s a steal for this level of interactive fun—after all, real babies are way pricier, and you can’t just turn them off.

Constructed from high-quality materials, Ultimate Grogu boasts a soft-skin face, rooted hair, a cozy fabric robe, chainmail, a satchel, and a Beskar armor chestplate. It comes with accessories like the cerulean macaron Grogu devoured in The Mandalorian episode 12, “The Siege,” which shakes when Grogu “uses the Force.” This space cookie, known as Nevarro Nummies, triggers eating and burping sounds when Grogu holds it in his tiny hand.

There’s also a grav charge accessory that lights up and emits countdown sounds, prompting unique reactions from Grogu.

“Our goal with Ultimate Grogu was to make fans feel like he’s truly part of their world,” said Adam Biehl, head of Disney Action Brands at Hasbro. “Our design and development team dedicated hours to studying how the character came to life in The Mandalorian series, aiming to capture his personality and movements in a way that honors what Lucasfilm has delivered. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Disney Consumer Products, we’re excited to introduce the most lifelike, interactive, and expressive Grogu character Hasbro has ever created.”

You can pre-order Ultimate Grogu now through various retailers. While this collectible is perfectly timed for next week’s May the Fourth and the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, it won’t ship widely until early 2027. However, a limited First Edition run with special packaging and a collector card will ship in late 2026, though it’s already sold out at some outlets.

Grogu will make his cinematic debut when The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters on May 22, marking the end of a six-year wait for new Star Wars films.

Three seasons of The Mandalorian are currently available for streaming, with Grogu and Pedro Pascal also featured in The Book of Boba Fett.
