Top 7 Picks from Amazon’s Pet Days Sale

A significant part of my role involves hunting down tech deals that gamers and tech enthusiasts will appreciate. However, in my personal life, my spending leans more towards food, litter, and supplies for my two cats than on gadgets. If you’re also a pet parent, you might want to check out Amazon’s five-day Pet Days sale running until 2:59 AM ET on Saturday, May 16th.

There’s a wide array of discounted products available—too many to list them all. To make things easier, I’ve highlighted seven standout deals for fellow cat and dog owners.

First up is the Bissell Little Green upholstery and carpet cleaner, currently priced at $99.99 (down from $129.99). This handy device is your go-to for tackling tough stains on carpets, rugs, and furniture. It works with Bissell’s cleaning formula, which comes as a sample with your purchase, and includes a cleaning brush and crevice tool for those hard-to-reach spots. While it may not be the quietest machine, it’s a lifesaver for cleaning up after your pets—and it’s also effective for coffee stains.

For those who wish their pets could communicate a bit more, consider a 10-pack of voice-recording buttons priced at $19.76. Each button can record up to 30 seconds of voice clips, making it a fun way to engage with your furry friends.

If you’re a cat owner looking to simplify litter box duties, the Litter-Robot 4 self-cleaning litter box is a worthwhile investment. A bundle including the litter box and a starter kit of accessories is available for $799.99 (regularly $860). This device is designed to reduce the frequency of scooping, allowing you to spend more time enjoying life. The included accessories—three OdorTrap packs, 10 liners, 30 wipes, and two carbon filters—further minimize your interaction with the litter box.

For those wanting to keep an eye on their cats, there are plenty of Wi-Fi-enabled cameras available, including budget-friendly options under $20. I’ve found the TP-Link Tapo 1080p indoor camera to be a solid choice at $17.99. While it’s a basic model, it’s versatile enough to double as a baby monitor. It features pan and tilt capabilities, motion detection, two-way audio, night vision, and options for cloud or microSD card storage. If your pet doesn’t require constant monitoring, this camera is a great fit.

A few more highlights from the Pet Days sale:
– If your pet needs a specialized diet, you can find discounts on Hill’s Science Diet dry food. For example, a seven-pound bag for indoor cats aged one to six is priced at $24.49 (usually $35). Subscribing for recurring delivery can save you an additional 20% at checkout.
– If you’ve considered using Apple AirTags to keep track of your pet, a four-pack of first-gen AirTag trackers is available for $56.99, down from the original $99. The newer second-gen model offers enhanced features, but if you don’t often misplace your pet, the older version is a cost-effective choice.
– For indoor cats who need a taste of the outdoors, a 20-foot transparent cat tunnel with zippers on both ends is currently priced at $28.99, reduced from around $40. This tunnel is part of a modular system, allowing for future upgrades if you want to expand your cat’s outdoor experience.
