Fans Excited as Fallout Season 3 Casting Hints at The Courier’s Arrival
Aaron Paul, known for his roles in *Breaking Bad* and *Westworld*, is set to join the cast of *Fallout* for its upcoming third season, as announced by Prime Video. This adaptation of one of the most beloved video game franchises has been a hit, drawing in viewers and generating significant fan excitement.
After attending a private screening for *Fallout* season 2 in London in late 2025, speculation about Paul’s involvement in future seasons began to circulate. In a chat with an outlet, executive producer Jonathan Nolan confirmed that Paul expressed interest in the show, saying, “Yeah, Aaron Paul was at the premiere, a human being I love so much. And he was very polite. He was very enthusiastic about the show.”
Nolan, along with producer Lisa Joy, previously collaborated with Paul on HBO’s *Westworld*, where he played Caleb Nichols, a war veteran who became a key antagonist in the series’ later seasons. Fans are already buzzing with theories about which character Paul might portray in *Fallout*, with many hoping he could take on the role of The Courier from *New Vegas*.
The cast continues to impress, featuring talents like Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and Walton Goggins. Alongside Paul, Annabel O’Hagan (Stephanie Harper from Vault 33) and Dave Register (Chet, the Vault 33 gatekeeper) are also joining the regular lineup for season 3.
As a passionate gamer, Paul’s long-standing interest in the *Fallout* franchise has been well-documented. He made an appearance at the launch party for *Fallout: New Vegas* back in 2010, long before the series hit screens. Last year, he lent his voice to the episodic game *Dispatch*, hinting at more gaming roles in the future. While it’s unclear what character he will embody, the anticipation for *Fallout*’s third season is certainly building.
However, the series seems to be struggling with a lack of clear direction for its diverse cast of characters.
