Exciting Additions to PS Plus This May: Discover an Underrated Star Wars Game and More!
As the temperatures rise in my area, it’s the perfect time to start watering my lawn, a great way to unwind after a long day. Once I finish my chores, I’m looking forward to diving into some exciting titles like Star Wars: Outlaws, Bramble, Red Dead Redemption II, and Time Crisis, all of which are set to join the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalogs next week.
On May 13, the next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games was officially announced, with these new additions available for download and play starting May 19.
Among the highlights is Star Wars: Outlaws, an open-world adventure set in that iconic sci-fi universe. I had a blast exploring the richly detailed planets when it first launched, and with several significant updates since then, the game has seen substantial improvements, particularly in its stealth mechanics. Now feels like the ideal time to wander around Tatooine. Another intriguing addition is Time Crisis, making its way into the PS Plus Classics lineup. Initially, I was skeptical about playing Time Crisis with a standard controller, but it seems this version supports gyro controls, which piques my curiosity about how well that will work.
Just a reminder: to access, download, and play these titles, you’ll need to be an active subscriber to the PS Plus Extra or Premium tiers. Those on the Essential tier won’t have access to the game catalog, and if your subscription lapses, you won’t be able to play these games until you resubscribe.
