Discover the Locations of All 9 Hidden Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6’s Japan

Forza Horizon 6’s expansive map set in Japan is a thrilling playground, but when it comes to tracking down specific locations for Treasure Cars, it can feel like a daunting quest. These hidden gems could be tucked away in a house, perched on a wind turbine, or even concealed behind a waterfall. The clues provided are often vague, making the search feel more like a scavenger hunt without a clear area to explore.

Hunting for Barn Finds has always been a highlight for me in the Forza Horizon series, and this time is no different. With the introduction of Treasure Cars—akin to Barn Finds but with their own twist—there are even more vehicles to track down. After dedicating 20 hours to cruising through Japan, I’ve gathered all the Barn Finds and Treasure Cars, allowing you to dive straight into the racing action without the hassle of slow-paced searching.

In total, there are nine Treasure Cars scattered across Japan in Forza Horizon 6. Unlike Barn Finds, which require you to level up your Discover Japan rank first, you can simply head to the locations listed below to snag these unique rides at no cost.

The first Treasure Car clue you’ll encounter is for the Dodge Charger, located behind some buildings near the golf course in the Minamino region, right next to the Airfield Trail dirt racing event.

Next up is the Figaro, found in a parking lot along the southern coast of Tokyo City, with the iconic Rainbow Bridge visible to your right.

In the vast Ohtani region, look for a specific radio tower in the mountain range to the west, near the border with Shimanoyama. It’s the one next to a large wooden house and a white tower, making it stand out among the others.

Ito is another expansive area filled with mountains, where you’ll need to locate the Wind Farm mentioned in your clue. Head to the northernmost mountain, past the Toyota 2000GT Barn Find and Minka House. Follow the winding dirt path up the hill to find the Safari Turbo at the base of a wind turbine, near some railings and boxes.

The Porsche 959 is relatively easy to spot, thanks to the sparse buildings in Shimanoyama. Look for a corner shop near the car park along the southern road in Narai-Juku, which is east of the Narai-Juku Circuit road race and west of the Fuji Unkai House. This location overlaps with the Mitsubishi #1 Sierra Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution Time Attack Barn Find, so grab it if you’ve reached Discover Japan level Adventurer (6/7, the purple stamp) or make a note to return later.

The Ford GT proved to be the trickiest Treasure Car to locate, as the coastline stretches far and wide. You’ll want to search along the coastal trail overlooking Tokyo City in the eastern part of Nangan. Look for a narrow dirt path in the hills that runs close to the coast, which you can spot on the map.

For the BMW M1, the hint directs you to a railway, but with the extensive railway network in the region, it can be confusing. Head to the large railway bridge that cuts through the open fields in the northern part of the Hokubu region, not far from the Hokubu Ascent street race event, where you’ll also see a railway tunnel to the south.

The Lancer Evolution is located on the dirt road leading to a waterfall in the western corner of the Takashiro region, near a temple. Follow the dirt path by the bridge along the river. This Treasure Car overlaps with the Nissan #23 Pennzoil NISMO Skyline GT-R Barn Find, which you may have unlocked if you’ve been leveling up your Discover Japan rank.

Finally, the Lancia Stratos can be found behind a wooden lodge on the snowy path leading up to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, situated in the center of the Sotoyama region. The main road nearby, which heads toward Hakusan Mountain Lodge, cuts through the snow-covered mountain pass, serving as a useful landmark that you can spot in the clue photograph.
