Discover All 15 Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 6 to Enhance Your Racing Experience in Japan

The beloved tradition of Barn Finds returns in Forza Horizon 6, where you’ll embark on a quest to uncover iconic cars to add to your collection. Just like in previous installments, you’ll need to explore specific areas to locate these hidden gems, but this time, your progress is tied to leveling up your Discover Japan stamp.

Hunting down all the Barn Finds is always a highlight for me in each Forza Horizon release, and this time is no different. In fact, there are even more vehicles to discover, thanks to the introduction of Treasure Cars—similar to Barn Finds but with their own unique twist. After spending 20 hours cruising through Japan to gather all the Barn Finds and Treasure Cars, I’m here to help you focus on racing instead of slowly piecing together clues.

Forza Horizon 6 features 15 Barn Finds, which you unlock in stages as you elevate your Discover Japan level from Visitor to Master Explorer. Boosting your Discover Japan rank and earning new stamps involves breaking mascots, completing food delivery tasks, participating in street and touge races, and, most crucially, finishing story missions (the ones marked with yellow badges).

Once you locate a Barn Find car, you’ll have to wait for it to be repaired before you can take it for a spin, unlike Treasure Cars, which are ready to go right away—unless you’re willing to shell out a hefty sum of credits.

Here’s a rundown of the Barn Find locations in the order you’ll unlock them:

The first Barn Find is nestled in the wooded hills at the northwest edge of the search area, near where two roads converge. The terrain can be tricky, so avoid using a slow city car like the Nissan Figaro.

Next up, the Toyota 2000GT can be found in the northern part of the Ito region, close to the Minka House. Specifically, it’s hidden in a small grove of trees near the seawall on the southeastern edge of the area, between two paths leading to the beach. It’s also a short drive from the 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo Treasure Car located further north.

The Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 Barn Find is situated near the borders of three regions, specifically in southern Ito. Look for it on a small wooded hill just south of the crossroads junction at the southern edge of the search area.

In the far south of the search area in Nangan, you’ll find the Nissan Skyline 2000GT, past the houses along the main road, where a dirt path leads to the barn.

The Nissan Pao is tucked away in the woods at the northeast edge of the search area, down a dirt path branching off from the main road. While you’re in the vicinity, don’t miss the chance to grab the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Treasure Car located further east.

The Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 is hidden in the bamboo forest adjacent to the dirt road that runs between the two main roads leading to Mei’s house in the northern Ohtani section of the search area.

You can find the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 in a barn at the end of a wide dirt road that climbs a short hill from the main road in the northeast of the search area.

The Lincoln Continental is easy to spot, located in a cluster of trees next to farmland just south of the center of the search area.

The Nissan Pennzoil Skyline is found in the woods on the eastern edge of the search area, nestled between where the road curves in a ‘U’ shape. While you’re nearby, consider picking up the 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR Treasure Car located by the waterfall.

The Mitsubishi Montero Evolution is hidden in the forest on the southwest edge of the search area. If you zoom in on the map, you’ll see the dirt path leading to it from the main road, not far from the Bandai Azuma Skyline Drift Zone challenge.

To reach the Lamborghini Diablo SV, follow the main road through the search area until you hit the longest deforested stretch in the center, near a three-way junction. The barn is located on the eastern edge of the search area, down the hill with the cleared trees opposite the blue digger, and around the bend to your right.

The Nissan R390 can be found along the dirt path that cuts through the northeastern edge of the search area, near the border between Ohtani and Shimanoyama. You can also access it from the main road outside the search area to the northeast, close to the Bridge Underpass Trailblazer start gate.

The Mitsubishi #1 Sierra Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution Time Attack is located in the woods almost at the center of the search area, overlooking Narai-Juku town to the south. Take the high dirt road from the Narai-Juku Circuit road race event, then veer right down the path where you’ll spot the barn over the hill.

This find is just up the road from the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Barn Find and very close to the 1987 Porsche 959 Treasure Car.

The Tomica Skyline is located at the southwestern edge of the search area. Near where the main road enters the zone from the west, there’s a wide dirt path leading south towards the barn, nestled between some unusually slender trees. It’s actually quite visible on the map, which is a rarity for Barn Finds.

Finally, the Mazda #55 Mazda 787B is one of the trickiest to locate, despite the surrounding area being mostly open fields. It’s hidden in the woods directly north of the search area, beyond the buildings, walking trails, and farmland. Look for a dirt path branching off the main road at the northwest edge of the zone.
