Nintendo Launches $500 Switch 2 Bundle with Included Game, Now Available

Nintendo has recently unveiled the “Choose Your Game” Switch 2 console and digital game bundle, set to launch in early June. However, several retailers, including Nintendo, are already offering this bundle for $499.99. You can find it at GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and the Nintendo Store. This is a great opportunity to grab the bundle before the holiday rush, especially since the price of the Switch 2 will increase to $499.99 in September.

Currently, the standalone Switch 2 console is priced at $449.99, while the bundle comes with a full-price game that offers up to a $30 discount. You can choose from three digital games upon setup: Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokémon Pokopia, and Mario Kart World. The regular prices for these games are $69.99 each, except for Mario Kart World, which is priced at $79.99.

The games included in the bundle won’t take up much of the Switch 2’s 256GB internal SSD. Among them, Mario Kart World requires the most space at 22GB. However, if you plan to expand your game library, you might want to consider a 256GB Samsung microSD Express card to double your storage. There’s currently a deal on these at Amazon for $47.99, down from the original price of $79.99.

To redeem your game, simply access the eShop from the Switch 2’s home screen. Select “enter code” on the left side of the page, input the 16-character code included in your bundle, and then make your game selection.
