Philips Unveils Dual-Sided Display for Enhanced Gaming Experience

The Philips 24B2D5300 Business Monitor may have a plain name, but it introduces a unique feature: dual screens on either side. This design is particularly useful for scenarios where multiple people need to view the same content, such as a car salesperson guiding a customer through options or a doctor discussing details with a patient. It also opens up possibilities for co-working environments.

Set to launch next month in parts of Europe for £359.99 (approximately $484), this monitor is already listed on Philips’ websites for the UK and Ireland, though a broader release has yet to be confirmed.

Equipped with two 23.8-inch LCD panels, each boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 120 Hz, the monitor supports connections to one or more devices via dual USB-C ports or HDMI ports. Typically, it will mirror the same content on both sides, but it can also function as two separate displays—one for public information and the other for private use. While it can’t be mounted on an articulated arm, the base allows for a 180-degree swivel, making it easy to check what’s displayed on the opposite side.
