Tips and Location Guide for the Hakone Nanamagari Touge Race in Forza Horizon 6

One of the trickiest challenges in this week’s Festival Playlist for Forza Horizon 6 is to not only complete but also win the Hakone Nanamagari touge race using the 2022 Toyota GR86. This track is a real test, and the AI can be quite ruthless. Plus, just locating the race is your first challenge.

Winning this event is essential if you want to snag all the reward cars in the Series 1: Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist, including this week’s exclusive items. Below, I’ll guide you on where to find the race and share some tips to help you secure that first-place finish.

You can find the Hakone Nanamagari touge race near the center of the Nangan region in the southwest corner of the map. Once you know what to look for, the winding mountain road is easy to spot. It’s located not far from the Nissan Skyline GT-2000 Barn Find and the Coastline Sprint event to the west, as well as the Irokawa Circuit to the southwest.

To complete the Festival Challenge, you need to win the Hakone Nanamagari race in the 2022 Toyota GR86, which can be a challenge if you’re not a fan of touge racing (I’m not either). This is a B-class event, limiting your vehicle to a maximum power rating of 600, so simply upgrading your GR86 for speed won’t necessarily help. If you can’t access the race when you approach it, it’s likely because your car’s rating is too high.

Here’s my advice:

This task is the final step in the Gazoo Racer weekly challenge, and completing it will earn you 25,000 credits and, more importantly, five points towards the Festival Playlist. While the credits aren’t a huge amount, those points are crucial if you want to unlock all the rewards this week and throughout the month-long series.
