T1’s Peyz Sets Record as Youngest Player to Achieve 13 Pentakills in League History

Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan has etched another remarkable milestone into his legacy by achieving his record-breaking 13th career Pentakill during T1’s match against Nongshim RedForce in the LCK Rounds 1-2, 2026.

This achievement officially crowns the 20-year-old as the all-time leader for the most pentakills in professional League of Legends history.

Now standing alone at the top of the leaderboard, Peyz has surpassed notable players like GALA, Ruler, and HolyPhoenix, each of whom has 12 pentakills. At just 20, Peyz has already outpaced seasoned veterans with much longer careers, solidifying his reputation as one of the most formidable bot laners in the game.

His record-breaking pentakill against NS came while playing Ashe, marking the eighth unique champion for which Peyz has secured a pentakill. While the majority of his pentakills (5) have been on Kai’Sa, this was his second pentakill as a T1 player, following an earlier one in the Kespa Cup.

In a post-match interview, Faker was asked if T1 deliberately aims to funnel pentakills to Peyz during games. The veteran mid laner dismissed the notion, instead highlighting Peyz’s exceptional consistency and positioning in teamfights.

“Rather than intentionally giving him pentakills, if you survive fights well and keep dealing damage, pentakills naturally happen often,” Faker explained. “Since he keeps dealing damage really well, I think that’s why those scenes happen a lot.”

Faker’s remarks underscore T1’s confidence in Peyz’s ability to dominate extended fights, as the ADC continues to build a reputation for executing clean late-game plays and delivering reliable damage.

Pentakills are among the rarest feats in professional League, and reaching 13 at just 20 years old showcases how rapidly Peyz has positioned himself among the elite ADC talents in the game’s history.

With many years ahead in his career, Peyz has the opportunity to elevate the record even further while maintaining his impressive performance with T1.
