Hatsune Miku Cosplayer Gains Attention for Selling ‘Feet Juice’ at Anime Convention

Feeling thirsty? How about quenching that thirst with some mysterious red juice served straight from a cosplayer’s foot? That’ll set you back $15.

This unusual offer was spotted at a U.S. convention, specifically during an unofficial Park Con event tied to FanimeCon, which took place over the weekend in San Jose. This annual anime convention has been a staple since 1994, drawing in around 30,000 attendees each year.

At an outdoor spot, two cosplayers were seen with signs proclaiming “FRESH FEET JUICE,” perched above coolers filled with the enigmatic red drink and their feet. For just $5, you could take a “swig,” while a more adventurous option allowed you to lick the juice directly from their feet for $10 to $15.

Photos and videos captured the moment, showing that they had a few eager customers, although not everyone was on board—one passerby’s reaction was particularly memorable.

Even in this sweltering weather, I can’t say this would be my go-to method for getting a drink. But hats off to the duo for finding a creative way to make some cash from those willing to indulge!
