Summer Game Fest 2026: Highlights from the Hottest Week in Gaming

Get ready for some exciting gaming updates! June is here, bringing with it a wave of events from major players like PlayStation and Xbox, along with the ever-enthusiastic Geoff Keighley. This season isn’t just about the headline shows; there are plenty of smaller events on the horizon that could showcase some intriguing new titles.

However, this year’s events come at a challenging time for the gaming industry. Console and hardware prices have surged, with all three major console manufacturers announcing increases, and PC handheld producers following suit with higher costs.

Additionally, game developers are navigating the massive presence of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is set to drop on November 19th. This period is typically bustling as studios rush to release their games ahead of the holiday shopping frenzy, but we might see some of the industry’s biggest titles steer clear of competing with GTA VI.

Stay tuned as we keep you updated on all the major news from the June gaming events season!
