Summer Game Fest 2026: Key Trailers and Major Announcements Revealed

Geoff Keighley’s annual June gaming extravaganza is back! Summer Game Fest Live, the highly anticipated event packed with gaming news and announcements, kicks off at 5 PM ET and will run for two hours. Taking place in person at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, it will also be available for live streaming on YouTube.

This year’s Summer Game Fest Live is perfectly timed amid a flurry of gaming showcases; PlayStation held its State of Play earlier this week, and the Xbox Games Showcase is set for Sunday. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking there won’t be any major surprises. Last year, for instance, Capcom took the opportunity to unveil Resident Evil Requiem. The description for this year’s livestream hints at a “live look at what’s next in video games, with new game announcements, surprise special guests, and more.” While it may not reveal much, you can bet Keighley has some exciting news lined up.

Stay tuned for our coverage of the most significant updates from the event.
