Expedition 33’s New Merch Embraces French Culture Like Never Before
We’re likely a few years away from diving into Sandfall Interactive’s sequel to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. In the meantime, fans can enjoy some exciting merchandise. Fortunately, the new Expedition 33 collection captures the essence of the game perfectly.
Pre-orders are now available for eight unique items inspired by the French RPG, and there’s some fantastic stuff in the mix. The quirky pins feature the most meme-worthy alternate costumes, transforming characters into baguettes. For those looking to show off their fandom in style, there’s also a striped shirt reminiscent of what the Expedition 33 developers wear.
One standout item is the Esquie keychain, which has a fun spinning feature. One side exclaims ‘Whee,’ while the other says ‘Whoo.’ It pairs perfectly with the Esquie Nendoroid that was released earlier this year.
Perhaps the most creative piece in this drop is the Expedition 60 tank top. Fans who have reached the end game know this group achieved incredible power while completely nude, reaching the Paintress in their natural state.
“They mocked us when we said the human body is the strongest of them all,” reads the legendary group’s journal entry. “We trained relentlessly and now our bodies have achieved the pinnacle of human performance … we are SO much more agile and aerodynamic without the heavy uniforms constraining our glorious muscles.”
While the journal suggests the expedition members wore nothing at all, it’s likely that Sandfall Interactive couldn’t market Expedition 60 in its full glory, so we’ll just consider this He-Man design as part of the lore.
Pre-orders are set to ship in October 2026. Some merchandise comes with extras like stickers, and there are small discounts available when bundling items.
Interestingly, a collector’s edition of Clair Obscur was seized by Iraqi customs, which suspected it might hold historical significance.
